Phil Neville caused a frenzy on social media on Friday after sharing an image of what appeared to be Romelu Lukaku in a Manchester United shirt.
The Red Devils have agreed a £75m deal with Everton for the striker and Neville's post suggested the move had been completed and Lukaku was ready to be unveiled.
The former utility man, who played for both clubs and captained Everton, shared the picture on Instagram and said:
'Left one great club and joined another @rlukaku9 congratulations'.
