The Man To Take The Chance; Dankwambo 2019.

In the last article, I stated that our nation , Nigeria is precluded with a lot of problems, and it is very unfortunate that the current government, led by APC/Buhari has no way out from all these problems.

In further stated that, 2019 is another chance for us to effect a sound change in our government, through the election.

So far, we have many strong political figures who have shown interest directly or indirectly to run for the office of the President come 2019.

In this section of this write up, I promised to write about the man that I've considered most fit for the office. Follow as I write.

Having carefully looked at many of those who have shown interest in the 2019 presidential election directly or indirectly, I've most assuredly shown my unshakable support for the current governor of Gombe state, His Excellency, Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo.

It may certainly interest you on why I’ve chosen to support ,Dr Ibrahim Dankwambo as Nigeria’s next president. I’ll give reasons below.

When you check the Nigerian political settings, there is this second term syndrome, especially for governors. They tend to do nothing amazing again after they’ve been re-elected into office, but Dr Ibrahim Dankwambo is a different breed. He has continued to give Gombe state the best kind of government/ governance a state should enjoy in this 21st century Nigeria.

In 2015, Governor Dankwambo was the Vanguard Man Of The Year. He won this award on the basis of good governance and for bringing better development to Gombe state. If such a man is entrusted with Nigeria, I’m sure he will take us to a greater height.

When you look at the education sector in Gombe today, it is one of the most amazing or probably the most amazing in the whole nation. Ibrahim Dankwambo as a governor has reshaped the image of education in Gombe in structure and in person.

With standardized and up-to-date educational materials for teachers and students.




Ibrahim Dankwambo as governor of Gombe state has also improved healthcare, bringing in modern equipments to enhance sound healthcare delivery in the state. Hospitals in Gombe are well built , designed and equipped for the people. Such a great guy deserves a chance to spread such ideas across the country.

Furthermore, Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo has done well in road constructions in Gombe state. There are pictorial evidences of how beautiful Gombe state looks like everywhere online.

Apparently, almost all roads in Gombe are tarred.
Salary payment is one thing Governor Dankwambo has triumphed about. It will interest you to know , Gombe state pays it workers as at when due, contrary to many other states in Nigeria who owe civil servants months of unpaid salaries.

Shall I further state that, Governor Dankwambo is a man of integrity, free from controversies of any kind. No EFCC case, no sexual scandal case, not once has he been in the face of pubic for something bad.

He has maintained a good position as a politician.
In addition, it will interest you to know that, Governor Dankwambo is given to the unity of this nation. He became the first northern state governor to assure the Igbos of their safety in Gombe ,amid threats and fears. He has many times attended functions in local parts of the South West and even South East, dressing in different cultural attires , all in his sincere quest to promote love and unity in Nigeria.

I could keep making lists and lists of the beautiful things Governor Dankwambo has done in Gombe, that qualifies him as a prospective and potential presidential aspirant and winner by the time he finally throws his hat into the 2019 presidential election.

Today, I make a clarion call to all lovers of true change and well meaning development, to not be blindfolded by tribe, religion or political party, but to be sincere as patriotic citizens of this nation and support a good man who can turn around things positively for this country. We should not be making another mistake like we did in 2015. This time, we should all stand unitedly with the man, the best man, the best man for the job, His Excellency Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo.

PS: Gombe state is the only core northern state the PDP didn’t lose in 2015. We won both the presidential and governorship polls, all because Dankwambo was and is still working!
