Tonto Dikeh saves 13-year-old pregnant Ghanaian girl after picture went viral (photos)

Controversial Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has made strides in locating the 13-year-old pregnant young Ghanaian girl.

The actress began the search together with her Foundation after the picture had gone viral on the internet.

The teenager identified as Afia was said to be engaged in the act of trading her body in order to fend for herself and her unborn baby.

When the incident came to her attention, the actress liaised with friends in the movie industry in Ghana to help her locate the teenager.

Tonto Dikeh disclosed that Afia would enjoy a special package from her foundation. She went on to spell out a few things that her foundation was going to do to ensure that she could at least lead a meaningful life after her delivery.

The actress indicated that young lady would be given a place to stay and her foundation was going to foot her medical bills. She added that the teenager was also going to be enrolled in school because education was very important.

The package also includes cost of antenatal and five month charges for postnatal care for the young mother and her child.

Dikeh also took to her Instagram handle to post the pictures of Afia and her baby in the hospital. The picture also had screenshots of how she was able to rescue the young lady.

She added that the 13-year old would also be migrated into a monthly-salary plan until she is able to work to cater for herself and her child. Afia would be assigned a psychologist who was going to assist her in case she has suffered any form of trauma due to her situation and also help in her rehabilitation.

The Tonto Dikeh Foundation is working on this project with St John’s Hospital and Fertility Centre, Multimedia Group and the Member of Parliament for Effiduase-Asokore Constituency, Honorable Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie.

She called on all benevolent people in Ghana and in the diaspora to channel some of their resources into making the lives of the less-privileged in society more comfortable.

Tontoh dikeh- "I will re-marry once i find true love"

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh was a guest at the unveiling ceremony of the 2017 African Children Talent Discovery Foundation, Unleash Your Talent and Premium Times met with the mother of one, who opened up about finding God and love again.

PT: What is the main focus of your foundation?
Tonto: My foundation is very broad and when I was starting out, the focus was domestic violence, r*pe victims and physically abused women. But right now, being a mother and an advocate for God just broadens my purview. So my foundation is down for anything that will make the woman race better for it.
PT: How is your foundation funded?
Tonto: Like I said earlier, the Tonto Dikeh foundation is a big one. So, we have sponsors and people who key into our vision and run with us.
PT: Does this mean that your acting career has taken the back seat?
Tonto: I was off the scene for a long time but I retuned with a bang. I stared in a yet to be released film titled Celebrity Marriage and it will be out soon. I’m all fired up because I’m involved in the movie. I don’t want to be involved in the acting like I used to be in the past.
PT: Can you please shed more light on this?
Tonto: I have shot a film in a day, in the past but not any longer. I’m not looking for popularity so I am just trying to stay relevant by starring in very few quality movies. My family proposes that I shoot five quality movies in a year. I think three good movies in a year is fair enough. And that is what I have been looking for. That way, I can have time for my child and other people because I’m not just a mother of one but I am a mother of nations.
PT: What is the secret behind your new glow?
Tonto: Well, firstly I am born again and when you have God, you just radiate. So all the glow is from within; you don’t fake God’s glow. You also can’t fake God’s glory because it overwhelms you. I don’t know how to say what I want to say but when God steps into a situation or your life he elevates you and makes you see things in a different light. So, the glow you see is all God. I am a radical for Christ.
PT: Do you plan to set up a church or become an evangelist?
Tonto: Yes I will, before I became an entertainer I was close to becoming an evangelist but I backslid. But not to say anything, I am back with God. I don’t know where God is taking me to. But if it is the pulpit, I am ready.
PT: Following your new status as a child of God, will you remarry or reconcile with your estranged husband?
Tonto: Love is a beautiful thing and love is exquisite. So, of course, I will remarry once I find true love.

Tonto Dikeh’s Estrange Husband Planning To Release Edited Video On Her

The Festus Keyamo Chamber has raised the alarm over imminent release of edited video on Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh by her estrange husband, Olakunle Churchill portraying her as being involved in domestic violence against him.

A statement from the chamber issued by Okechukwu Uju-azorji, warned bloggers and journalists not to use any edited video on Tonto Dikeh or faced being sued.

“It has come to our knowledge that her ex-husband, Mr. Olakunle Churchill has perfected plans to release a short and edited video depicting and portraying our client as being involved in some domestic violence against him.

“Our client wants all bloggers and/or journalists to request for the full version of the video showing the said domestic scene which started with a physical abuse of our client by her ex-husband, which earned her a swollen face. Her ex-husband only intends to release our client’s reaction to the assault on her and not the assault itself.

“We shall be prepared to take legal action against any blogger/journalist that uses the edited version without insisting on or showing the full version,” the statement said.

Ghanaian Police crime officer describes a violent fight Tonto Dikeh had with her hubby, says she pulled out a gun

Tonto Dikeh's marital crisis has just entered a whole new level.

Following her tell-all interview a few days ago where she opened up on how her hubby, Oladuni Churchill maltreats, beats and cheats on her, a new video (rather confusing though) has just hit the internet with shocking details about her.

In the new video published online by Asempa News in Ghana, a man identified as Supt. Joseph Oppong, Crime Officer at the Madina Divisional Police is seen reading a statement allegedly written by Churchill during one of their fights in Ghana.

Reading from the statement with, Oppong said they received a call to Churchill’s Trasaaco estate in Ghana where they went in to find Tonto Dikeh in a rage, destroying items in the house because she claimed her husband was cheating on her.

Oppong said before they arrived, she had destroyed $15,000 worth of items and they had to restrain her adding that she had even waved a gun at one of Churchill’s bodyguards who tried to stop her from breaking the properties.

In a recent post on social media, Bobrisky revealed that the actress offered him support when he was feeling down.

An Instagram user and blogger @cutie_juls has posted a write up defending internet big boy, Hushpuppi.

The blogger took a shot at Hushpuppi's estranged friend Mompha requesting that he sends his account number for her to credit him with the $5,000 ( N1.8m) he claims Hushpuppi owes him.

She claimed that Mompha is not a good friend and should have guided Hushpuppi right to take care of his parents instead of shading him on social media.
