After Saturday's 3-1 defeat against West Bromwich Albion when there were protests against him Wenger revealed he has made a decision about his future after talks with the Arsenal board and would make it public “very soon” .
Wenger, 67, was offered a two-year deal earlier in the season but The Sunday Express understands he has reached a compromise to stay on for one more year.
He is reluctant to go after 21 years, despite suffering six defeats in the last nine games.
Juventus boss maximiliano Allegri had already decided to take over Arsenal if Wenger decided to step down.

Wenger said last night: “I know what I will do so you will know very soon.
"Today I do not worry about that. I watch the game, I do not watch the stands.”
This even suggests that the manager is not leaving anytime soon..
