Breaking: EFCC storm $2 million mansion belonging to embattled Maina



The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) mobile police officers on Monday, October 23, stormed a mansion belonging to the former head of the civil service of the federation, Abdulrasheed Maina.

According to Premium Times the building at No. 10 Hamisu Musa Road, Jabi, around 3:40 p.m on Monday, was being marked in red by an operative in mufti while police officers giving cover to the official.
The mansion is believed to have been bought for $2 million.

It was also gathered that another of Maina’s houses located at No. 12, Road 11, Kado Estate is also billed for similar exercise.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday ordered his sack and called for an investigation into how he was recalled into the civil service despite being on the wanted list of the EFCC.
