The American president said the Prime Minister gave him "full details" of the row when they met at the Nato summit in Brussels last week.

The leak prompted a furious response from the UK, with Manchester police deciding to stop sharing information with the US.
Speaking ahead of last week's summit, Mrs May said she planned to make clear to President Trump that intelligence passed by British investigators to their US counterparts "must remain secure".
