Donald Trump: Theresa May 'very angry' over Manchester terror leaks

Donald Trump has revealed that Theresa May was "very angry" at the leaking of intelligence about the Manchester terror attack to the US media.



The American president said the Prime Minister gave him "full details" of the row when they met at the Nato summit in Brussels last week.

Numerous details in the immediate aftermath of the attack including the identity of the suspect and the nature of the attack were first reported by American media outlets who quoted sources within the US intelligence community

The leak prompted a furious response from the UK, with Manchester police deciding to stop sharing information with the US.

Speaking ahead of last week's summit, Mrs May said she planned to make clear to President Trump that intelligence passed by British investigators to their US counterparts "must remain secure".
