The Saul/Buhari, Nigeria/Israel Relationship.

It been a while I penned an article down, especially politically related ones, but I deemed it fit to write again as I've been inspired to.

By Gbebikan Adeyemi

In this article, I will be likening Nigerians to Israelites and our president to the first king of Israel, King Saul.

At a point in Nigeria, were and when everything seem to be in the best position, than it has ever been since we found ourselves as Nigerians, from somewhere in the northern part, a cry begun.
Hatred was raised against the man, Goodluck Jonathan, curses, insults and ridicules, survey stated he was the most abused leader at that time in the world.
Nigerians like Israelites began to feel uncomfortable and they cried to God for a new leader, we despised Jonathan, like Israelites did, forcing Prophet Samuel to ask God to grant their desire for a King.

When you flashback to how Nigerians, expressed frustration during Jonathan days, you'll think the height of pains that hit us then was the peak, whereas,it's not. The children of Israel did same too, when they wanted a King.

Like children of Israel, we thought we had found a king and a prophet in Buhari, like the Israelites felt too about Saul, but little did we know, that upon ourselves have we brought pains and damnation.

As much as Saul appeared to be the solution to the children of Israel, Buhari appeared same to many Nigerians, which gave him the victory during the election.
Now, we have a 21st century King Saul, who will disobey and disown everyone who was part of his making.
Shall, I remind you, Saul disobeyed Prophet Samuel, the man whom God used to anoint him, tell me if Buhari hasn't disobeyed Tinubu, the man God used to bring him on top.

Anytime, you become too bold to disobey your master, it means you can also do anything evil for that master.

Saul rented (tore) Samuel's garment, in the process of Samuel correcting him for disobeying instructions, Buhari did same.

The kingdom of Saul was rented(tore) apart and he lost it, the devil possessed him and he was miserable forever till death.

  • Is Buhari not possessed already?
  • Is he not miserable now?
  • Hasn't his kingdom been tore apart?

He has been sick for months now, reports claim he is on life support machine, the pains Nigerians bare is seconded to none, agitation of the IPOB is aggravated, the economy is collapsed, this is another kingdom of Saul, because God has departed.

Like the children of Israel gained nothing from their incessant demand for a king, majority of Nigerians who wanted a new president have gained nothing either from Buhari. Sad!!

I'm retiring my pen, by asking God Almighty to please forgive us our trespasses and send to us a David, who will salvage us or else the rented(tore) apart kingdom of Buhari shall make us remain unproductive and visionless.

Gbebikan Adeyemi,
(King Oracle).
