Christian conspiracists insist that the world will come to an end on Saturday, September 23 and they cite various Bible verses to "prove" it.
They claim that a hidden planet in the solar system called "Nibiru" is about to pass very close to earth.
This will cause the Biblical apocalypse through volcanoes and tsunamis that will result in mass death.
One of the foremost conspiracy theorists promoting this claim is David Meade, author ofPlanet X: The 2017 Arrival.
He cites the dates of the American solar eclipse (August 21) and Hurricane Harvey (first hit on August 25) as manifestations of Luke 21: 25-26.
Strange: Portal to hell found in antartica (Video)In an article Meade writes: "25: There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 26: Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. Footnote: The eclipse was August 21, Hurricane Harvey hit Texas on August 25 and flooded Houston on August 26 – Luke 21: 25-26 … See how that works?"
