The Nigerian army had earlier published a harrowing image of Sheikh Zakzaky to show he is alive.
ABNA24 reports that publishing the photo was after international pressure of Muslims and was done in order to calm public opinion.

The second photo has just been sent to Ahlul Bayt News Agency and indicates that the Shiite cleric is a very bad state of health.
For the Shiites, the photo is traumatic and dehumanizing, as it shows how Nigerian army moves Sheikh Zakzaky, leader of Islamic Movement in Nigeria, with a poor wheelbarrow.

Meanwhile, leaders of Shia Islamic movement of Nigeria have listed five conditions for possible truce and presented a catalog of demands to the federal government. The main condition for letting peace reign in the nation, is the immediate release of Sheikh Zakzaky.
